Dennis,
I have just recently created my own blog (http://patricia-defosse.blogspot.com) about my father’s battle with cancer. The point of my blog is to make people realize that life is too short and everyone should take advantage of the time that they do have because you never know what tomorrow may bring. As a beginner I was having trouble finding blogs by others that relate to my own. When searching for blogs about cancer, most of the results were breast cancer blogs. Although these blogs are useful and inspiring, I was looking for cancer blogs that related more so to the type of cancer that my father had: oral and lung cancer. Thanks to your list I am able to find blogs that directly relate to my blog. I appreciate your help. Another website that offers an extensive cancer blog list is called “Know Cancer: Everyone’s Cancer Blog. http://www.knowcancer.com

Dennis, this is a great idea! It would be great also to have a list of contact info for all the cancer bloggers so we could get on each other's lists and let each other know about special posts, events, resources, etc.

For example, besides our blog, we have a cream to help prevent & heal radiation therapy burns (Jeans Cream). In honor of Mother's Day, we're donating 10% of all online sales to Singleton Moms, an organization that helps single moms with cancer. This is the ONLY organization we found who offer dedicated support for single moms with cancer. We'd LOVE for some other bloggers to help us this month in bringing attention to this issue. Can you imagine going through cancer treatment while having to take care of your children!? There are so many women going through this.

If you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me directly: lexi@jeanscream.com

Thanks!!
